Information Collected by the App

Mocolamma does not collect or transmit any user information.
Usage data and crash reports may be shared if a user has "Share with app developers" turned on in the "Analytics & Improvements" section of System Settings' "Privacy & Security" settings, but the app itself has no feature to collect and transmit information whatsoever. Users concerned about privacy can use it with peace of mind.

Information Retrieved by Mocolamma

Mocolamma retrieves certain information to function correctly. The following information is retrieved:

• Ollama information on the localhost and on the specified host
  • Using the Ollama API, the following information is retrieved:
    • Ollama version
    • Number and names of models running on the Ollama server
    • Model information available on the Ollama server
• Detailed model information from the Ollama website
  • To retrieve this data, the Ollama server should be connected to the internet.
• Local network permission status of the device
  • Check whether the necessary permissions are granted for the app to communicate with the Ollama server within the local network.
• System information and app version information
  • Used to automatically detect the feedback template language and pre-fill necessary information when the "Send Feedback" button is clicked within the app. The following information is retrieved for this feature:
    • App language (Japanese or other)
    • OS information (e.g., macOS)
    • System version information (e.g., Version 26.0.1 (Build 25A362))
    • App version information (e.g., Version 1.0.0 (Build 2350))

The model name you enter to add a model to the Ollama server, and the model name used to view model details from the Ollama website, may be sent to the Ollama website. This is a standard feature of the Ollama API, and this app does not send any other information externally.
